1. Amnesty International
Amnesty International is engaged in a campaign to pressure President Obama to close the U.S. prison at Guantánamo.

2. National Religious Campaign Against Torture
NRCAT is lobbying the White House and Congress to create an independent commission of inquiry on torture.

3. Open Society Justice Initiative
The Justice Initiative has sued Romania in the European Court of Human rights for its role in the rendition and torture of Saudi national Abd al-Rahim Husseyn Muhammad al-Nashiri, now held at Guantánamo.

4. Torture Abolition and Survivor Support Coalition
Founded by Ursuline Nun Dianna Ortiz, a torture victim, TASSC does anti-torture advocacy in Washington, D.C., and coordinates services and support for victims.
