Neil Heslin appears on a new television ad produced by Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns to put pressure on Connecticut legislatorscurrently debating a ban on military-style rifles and high capacity magazines as well as the implementation of criminal background checks.Heslin went on CNN Thursday to push back against a new CBS poll that suggests that Americans might be moving on. Heslin told Jake Tapper that he thinks that’s wrong. The American people are not forgetting about the massacre of 20 innocent children at Sandy Hook Elementary School. He didn’t say, but we might surmise, that Americans won’t ever forget, not if he has anything to say about it.
